2 Data collected

We primarily process the personal data that we receive as part of our business relationship with our customers. Specifically, this is the following data:

  1. Merchant: email address, password hash, VAT rate, language, company name or name and contact address of the merchant. If card payments are activated by the merchant, we also record the API key of the payment provider. Optionally, we also collect the merchant's Facebook Pixel ID. The merchant's credit card information is collected by the payment provider, Slaysell only stores so-called payment tokens.
  2. Customer (the retailer): Name, address and e-mail address. The customer's credit card information is collected by the payment provider, Slaysell only stores so-called payment tokens.
  3. Visitors who fill out and submit a contact form on a Slaysell website: e-mail address and the message sent, as well as the entire communication history between visitor and merchant.

3 Purposes of data processing

We use the personal data we collect primarily to conclude and process our contracts with our customers and business partners and to comply with our legal obligations in Switzerland and abroad.

6 Duration of storage of personal data

We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes or as long as we are legally obliged to do so.

We will delete your personal data if you ask us to do so or if we no longer need your data.

7 Data security

We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access.

In cooperation with Kreativ Media GmbH, our local hosting provider in Switzerland, we endeavor to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification. Our customer data is stored on Swiss servers using SSL encryption in accordance with the latest security standards.

8 Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, as well as the right to restrict data processing and to objection to our data processing.

Please note, however, that we reserve the right to assert the restrictions provided for by law, for example if we are obliged to store or process certain data, have an overriding interest in doing so (insofar as we are entitled to invoke this) or require it for the assertion of claims.

The exercise of such rights generally requires that you clearly prove your identity (e.g. by means of a copy of your ID, where your identity is otherwise not clear or cannot be verified).
